The Original 1983 began life at the Central Markets in Adelaide back in the 80’s. Nanna fused a traditional Asian style Chilli Oil that she had learnt from the store owners with a new smoked chilli (The Chipotle) that was coming into South Australia from Mexico. As word quickly spread about Dulcie’s Original 1983 Crispy Chilli Oil, she would sell it in the carpark after 12 hour shifts at Angelakis Brothers Seafood. As Nanna would say- “Cash Only….what do I look like a bank?”.

The Original 1983- It’s Australia’s only slow cooked, limited release crispy chilli oil. If you like garlic, onion and chilli then this is the addictive kick in the mouth you have been waiting for. Once you have had The Original 1983 everything else just tastes like it was made in 2022.
